Overview
The psion revo is an extreamly user friendly PDA, i have had mine for about 3 years now and only one complaint, the battery reading only seems to give you an average reading, it is not as accurate as you think. Now ive finished pointing out the bad point that i have found lets move on to the good points. It is a very very light PDA compared to some of the other models, the 8MB space is fine as well because i find you can constantly keep "zapping" your information over to the PC. The Software on the PDA is very user-friendly as is the linking software. There is an extensive range of EPOC programs that are available for free download at tucows.com that will work on the psion. If your a game-a-holic there are also loads of games for it. You will find a program for your every need. As i said before it is extremly light and easy to carry and it is resistant to the odd bumps that may occur in every day life. You can buy a range of protective cases for it ranging from soft leather ones to hard metal protective ones. My advice to you is if you want a relativly cheap decent PDA Buy one of these. I know they are discontinued now but you are bound to be able to buy them on google. Sam

Batteries
I have found the Revo a valuable tool for storing notes etc. But it took me a while to understand how to monitor the battery status. To me it only gives an estimate of battery power left and it is based on the usage. I thought it had a fault in the fact it was crashing on me- loosing everything. I then discovered it was due to the battery in a run down state, even though the psion was telling me porkies. I charge it twice weekly now regardless of what the psion's meter tells me. One tip I would give users. If when you attempt to switch on and it fails, don't try a second time or you may loose everything- Charge it first!

My favorite Psion, (except)
What I'd like to see is going back to regular, reliable, user-replaceable batteries. Also, memory expansion, now that MMC cards are available this isn't difficult spacewise. Heck, if my $50 JamCam digital camera can use MMC ram...I'd really like Psion's prototype Revo-phone with colour screen. Very handy but short in memory
Psion Revo has proved to be a very handy tool and very useful. I just find it short of memory.

Pretty cool
I just got given a Revo by my Uncle, and it's pretty darn good. It's good as an organiser and there are tonnes of good apps and games that can be downloaded for it.

Funky Toy
It's a funky, and fun toy. the 8Mb is a little limiting, but as all I bought it for was as a moble telnet client I this I can live with it. :)
