I switched to the 720 from HP and think it is much better than my old Psion. The only complaint people have said in past is the previous inability to have tables in word etc. but that is not the case now. FYI there is a new 728 comming in June 02 with lighter longer battery, 64 megs built in and in 04/03 a dramatically improved 7 series from HP has already been announced that is supposed to be lighter, sleeker, may have built in 802.11 wireless, blue tooth, and run on a 400-550 mghz processor with a new OS upgrade from MS that incorporates the .net and other major upgrades to the CE system. Here is information on word and ce:

It only runs on Win CE handheld, from ce 2.0 up to HPC 2000. It is part of a full office suite that will include a spreadsheet plus other apps. Why not on the Pocket PC? My guess is its the screen size issue all over again. (Thank you HP for the Jornada 720)!!
