As I recall, this has to do with the different naming conventions of Windows and EPOC. It could also be specific to the CF card reader and how it works. You should post the name of the specific CF card reader that you have used successfully. Also, I purchased two 32 meg CF cards for my Digital camera (Canon PowerShot S10) and one of them worked with my MC218, the other did not. Both worked with the Camera.
