Skyscape—a company that mobilizes medical point-of-care, decision support, reference, and training resources—has just brought its texts to Palm's webOS platform.

Interestingly, it did not do so directly by creating a webOS version of its platform. Rather, it leveraged the Classic Palm OS emulator from MotionApps do so. Classic allows Palm Pre, and soon Palm Pixi, users to run thousands of available Palm platform apps on the PDA pioneer's follow up operating system.

For those who already have Skyscape resources for your old Palm device and would like to transfer their registrations to a new Palm Pre, see the Installation Guide in the Support section of Skyscape's Web site.

Keep in mind, you must buy and download MotionApps Classic emulator first before can run any of Skyscapes Palm OS applications. You can get Classic through your Pre's on-device App Catalog.

For those of you who would like to transfer their active subscriptions from another type of device to the Palm Pre, contact Skyscape via e-mail: support@skyscape.com.
