Cell phone vendor Nokia said on Tuesday it would launch its "Comes with Music" package with an offering in Britain, signing a deal with Carphone Warehouse to sell the first model, Reuters is reporting. An anonymous source said that the new handset will be available in October.

What continues to distinguish Nokia's music service from everyone else's is the fact that the carrier says customers can keep any music they downloaded during the first twelve months, even if they leave the service later on. Three of the four major labels—Universal, Sony BMG and Warner Music Group—are all on board. The report said that analysts are already claiming Nokia has stolen the spotlight from Apple in Europe, which is difficult to imagine from over here.
