Briefly available in the UK a few years ago, Gizmondo - a hybrid gaming and PDA device - (along with the company that makes it, Tiger Telematics) disappeared before making its way to the U.S. Now comes word that a new company called Media Power is gearing up to revive the Gizmondo.

Word has it the resurrected Gizomondo will run on either Windows CE 6.0 or - more interestingly - Google's Android platform. Swedish-American journalist got the chance to check one out a few days ago, courtesy of Media Power CEO Rich Jenkins, who said the company is ready to ramp up production, perhaps before the end of the year.
