PhoneFace Photo-Dialer Draws Up-to-Date Pics from Facebook

By James Alan Miller

PhoneFace ($9.95) is a new BlackBerry application from Electric Pocket that enables you to tap on your friends' pictures to call, text or e-mail them. That's not so unique. You can do that with lots of smartphones today. What's interesting about this software is it allows your friends' pictures to, in effect, be chosen by your friends. That is, their most recent pictures are automatically updated on your BlackBerry through PhoneFace's integration with Facebook. See video below for a demonstration of how PhoneFace works.
