Palm's posted ROM updates for a pair of its aging smartphones - the Palm OS-run Treo 700p from Verizon Wireless and the Windows Mobile-run Treo 700wx from Alltel. The PDA pioneer calls these software upgrades Radio Patches: the patches address a phone reset issue that occurs under "certain specific and rare conditions" with these smartphones, according to Palm.
