Tip: Windows Mobile - Sending a Video Message

By Amy Mayer
July 30, 2008

With a video camera built into your Windows Mobile smartphone you can record yourself, or anyone else, and send the recording as an MMS (multimedia) message.

  •
  • Select your device's camera function
  •
  • From the camera's options, select video messaging (this icon will look like a movie camera with either an envelope or MMS on it).
  •
  • Shoot the video you want.
  •
  • When your video clip shows up in the review panel, either select "Send" from the menu or click the envelope icon (if you have one).
  •
  • Select the account from which you wish to send the video clip
  •
  • Enter the recipient's address and a message (if you wish)
  •
  • Hit the send button.

Quality of the recording and playback will obviously depend on your device, and the recipient's, as well as the resolution settings you choose.
