Vodafone Extending iPhone's Reach

Vodafone's inked a deal with Apple to sell the iPhone in ten countries:

- Australia
- Czech Republic
- Egypt
- Greece
- Italy
- India
- Portugal
- New Zealand
- South Africa
- Turkey

This agreement will greatly increase the number of markets consumers can officially get and use an iPhone. The carrier giant says it'll start offering the iPhone in these regions later this year. Other than that tidbit of information, nothing else about availability, let alone cost, has been revealed yet, however.

It's likely Vodafone will skip the current EDGE model and go right to the 3G edition that's due to come out this summer.
