BlackBerry Storm Makes TV Appearance

By James Alan Miller
October 7, 2008

It can't be long now: Last night, the BlackBerry Storm made its first television appearance, in a new commercial from Verizon Wireless on CBS.

This smartphone, with its touch screen interface, is RIM's answer to the iPhone and more. For instance, in addition to the much-touted display, the new BlackBerry delivers feedback in the form of a physical sensation to - it is promised - make text input easier. There will also be a 3.2 megpaixel camera for picture and video, EV-DO 3G wireless, visual voice mail, an improved HTML browser, and a whole lot more.
