Palm has several new smartphones—codenamed Drucker, Wanda and Zeppelin—in the works, none of which have been officially announced. It turns out one of these devices, Drucker, made a surprise appearance (it’s first) during the Consumer Electronics Show last week; during, of all things, Bill Gates keynote speech.

Drucker showed up in one of the Microsoft CEO's presentation slides, as he talked about his company's partnership with Palm, as he talked about the PDA and smartphone maker's Windows Mobile-run Treos.

In addition to the picture (from Brighthand), here's what else we know about Drucker so far:

Drucker may just be the much-rumored about Wi-Fi-enabled Treo 800w. And, it is, according to a recent Vodafone roadmap, slated to replace Palm's aging Treo 750 in the carrier's Windows Mobile lineup.

This smartphone is supposed to run on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and sport a QWERTY thumb-keyboard, 320 x 320-pixel touch screen (a resolution previously reserved for Palm's Palm OS-run devices) and Bluetooth 2.0.

Additional features may include GPS, a 2 megapixel camera, and a 1500 maH battery.

Because Drucker is a quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA (3G) world phone, there's every reason to believe it, or something very close to it, will make its way to these shores.

Vodafone's roadmap estimates Drucker will ship this summer, possibly in July, for £270 (about $530) without a user agreement.
