Just got off the phone with the Verizon sales rep this morning. She claims a 2 or 4 year contract price / upgrade price of $349.99 tomorrow. Can't wait! I'll see if I can talk down my Verizon store reps to $300 tomorrow.

Take a Good Look at the Motorola Q9m
I think the concept is pretty cool to have a multimedia look and switch to conventional look when required. I think Motorola can only come out with creativity.

Sadly, no?
The Verizon q9m will not be as cool and thrifty as its Q bretheren on Sprint, the q9h. All the Verizon q9m is is a skinned q6 (e.g. the origional Q) with Windows Mobile 6. From what the cell industry insider Boy Genius reported last month from his proto device (here http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2007/06/18/motorola-q9m-nelson-hands-on/), the hardware specifications and port specs are identical between the q6 and q9m in every respect. If only it weren't so...
