I had a 8125 I had an 8125 and you simply could not read the screen in sunlight. You did not even have to be in direct sunlight to be unable to read the screen, you could be sitting in your car and decide to call some one but even with brightness turned all the way up you could not read the screen. Good news I hope this model works as well if not better than my 8125. I have used my 8125 in europe. Phone works great, from time to time you can not get data in europe however.
