Palm has posted a new software update for Alltel's version of the Treo 700wx. While Verizon and Sprint also offer the Windows Mobile-run smartphone in the U.S., keep in mind that the download is for Alltel Treo 700wx users only. Called a
PRI Update,, Palm says the software patch is designed to improve the performance and reliability of the Treo 700wx under certain roaming conditions and when using the 3-way calling feature. You can download and install the PRI update either over the air or through you desktop computer.
