E-TEN, the company that recently introduced the Goldfish X500+, a device that includes - among other things – an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6 from version 5 in its ultra-slim Glofiish X500 Pocket PC Phone line (see top image), today announced free upgrades to Microsoft's latest mobile-device operating system for its current smartphone lineup.
In fact, E-TEN already has a Windows Mobile 6 update posted on its Web site for the Glofiish X500. The version for its Glofiish M700 model (see below), a slider Pocket PC Phone with a QWERTY thumb-keyboard, won't be available until May 23rd, however.
The Windows Mobile 6 upgrades are available in three languages: English, French and Russian. It delivers a number of improvements and features, such as more reliable e-mail delivery, support for HTML formatted messages, and much improved mobile Office applications.
