Nokia Posts Software Upgrade for Internet Tablets

A pair of system updates are now available for Nokia's two most recent Internet Tablets, the N800 and N810. The former fixes issues that appeared after the last software upgrade for that device, while the latter - the newer model - gets some bug fixes and small enhancements. Click here to access both upgrades, find out more about them and see how to download and install them.

Unlike with Nokia's smartphones you can't make phone or data calls over a cellular network with its tablets, however. Rather, they're designed to access the Web (through its Mozilla browser with Flash support) and send and receive e-mail, for example, over Wi-Fi, as well as perform voice calls using VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol)—with Skype support.
