By James Alan Miller
Unfortunately, it appears the 110's sister model, the iPAQ 210 Enterprise Handheld, is still delayed until next year because of previously stated supply issues. The 210 and 110 are a couple of a series of new mobile devices HP unveiled back in September. Unlike the others, mostly smartphones, these Windows Mobile 6 models fall into the traditional PDA category, a market it was thought HP, like many other vendors, had abandoned. Both new handhelds run on the Classic edition of Windows Mobile 6. Classic, formally known as Pocket PC under Windows Mobile 5, signifies Microsoft-run devices that don't sport cellular-wireless connectivity.
More on iPAQ 110 & 210 The 210, which will go for $450, has slots for both Secure Digital and CompactFlash cards and a 4-inch, 480 x 640 pixel (VGA) resolution touch screen. It runs on a high-capacity 2200 mAH Lithium Ion battery, powerful 624 MHz processor, 64MB of RAM, and 256MB of ROM. The 210 includes both Wi-Fi with VoIP support and Bluetooth 2.0 wireless. The 110 is a thinner&151;only 0.54 inches thick to the 210's 0.63 inches. Its overall dimensions are 0.54 x 4.6 x 2.7 inches. The 110 weighs 3.7 ounces. It sports the same amount of RAM and ROM and clock-speed processor as the 210. There's still Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as well. However, the screen size drops down to a smaller 3.5-inch and lower-resolution QVGA type and the battery to a 1200 mAH. Related Links:
