Replace Treo 755p's Battery Without Replacing Back Cover

Seidio is now offering a new extended lithium ion battery for the Treo 755p that doesn't require you to replace that smartphone's battery door. This 2200mAh battery, which replaces the standard 1600mAh type bundled with the Treo, promises to deliver 37 percent more power for $59.95.

Although it does this without requiring the user to replace the back cover of their smartphone, Seidio does include a free replacement door with the battery, however. The company says this is because of small variations in individual devices that may introduce fitting issues.

If you don't mind replacing your smartphone's door and introducing a large (unsightly) hump on the back of your device, there's an even more powerful 3200mAh battery available from Seido.

It doubles the amount of power delivered by the standard 1600mAH battery for $10 more than Seido's 2200mAh battery.
