Although OtterBox doesn't say this specifically, it is likely the 1920 is made through an injection molding process and is comprised of a glass-reinforced polycarbonate shell with a thermoplastic rubber overmodling for added drop protection like its other case models. It should also meet IP-67 and MIL SPEC 810 ratings for water, dust and drop protection.
The Treo case provides access to all the major functions of the device while completely sealing it off from the elements. This includes the sync/charge, SD slot, headset jack, camera, and even the QWERTY thumb-keyboard, along with all the Treo's other buttons.
Just like with its 1910 model for the HP's iPAQ hw6500 series, the new case performs this last feat by replicating all the keys and buttons of a Treo. So when you pressed a letter on the case, for example, while the Treo is inside it, the corresponding letter on the actual Treo depresses. OtterBox is taking pre-orders now for the 1920.
