Verizon Blocks Customers
If you have the LG Chocolate and upgraded the firmware recently, chances are you won't be able to transfer your own music and ringtones to the phone anymore. Verizon has BLOCKED/LOCKED all 3rd party software on that (and possibly other) phone(s) and is trying to force you to buy their "Music Essentials Kit". I'm sure over time someone will find a way around this but if you're interested in getting one, I wouldn't advise you to and look elsewhere.

not so sweet
For a phone with such a sweet sound, this one has a very salty after taste. After a year and a half, just hen I thought things were great the phone started dying. Just the start of what was to come.....6 chocolates later, I probably should've had a satisfied sweet-tooth, phone number 7 just died today !!!!! I don't think anyone likes sweets that much.

This phone is really great!
I am a Chocolate owner and have been for a year and two months... Jan of 07 to now, March of 08. I have had no problems with the phone at all. Period. The phone's speaker is a little fuzzy, but the music player is good, and I can easily transfer music onto it. I have had no problems with Verizon and being that I have tried ALL other carriers, Verizon is by far the best. The Cholcolate is also an easy phone to navigate through, for it took me all of ten minutes to figure out where everything is. All of you talking trash about the Chocolate don't have the faintest idea about how great this phone is. I would definately recommend this phone to ANYONE who likes a good, easy, and good quality music phone... I give LG a two thumbs up!!!

Mixed Opinion
Well, I've had mine for exactly one year now, it's my fourth chocolate. The first two the speaker went out on them. While exchanging the the second one, as I left the Verizon store the phone didn't work so I had to get out of my car go back in and exchange that one as well which makes three. Recently my phone decided to delete all my contacts for no reason, so I had to go back to Verizon. They upgraded me to the new chocolate, that's four! OK, I find the phone easy to use and it looks nice, sensitive yes, but change the sensor level and your fine. Do I hit wrong buttons while trying to do something, yes but I just deal with it. Will I get another chocolate when my contract expires, NO way!

Wrong!
This person that wrote this is totaly wrong. I have had my chocolate for a year and i love it. It's not hard to use in fact it is really easy. If you think it's to sensitive change the setting thats what i did. I am tired of pepole saying that it has no speaker phone. When it clearly does. Well anyway this person is completly wrong and the chocolate is an awsome phone.

?
Whoever wrote this is an idiot, because I just got the phone yesterday and it was really easy to figure out and use. So if you couldn't figure it out after a WEEK of testing thats pretty pathetic, seeing as how I'm only 14. I love the chocolate =]
