just like windows 3.1
horrible battery life, locks up constantly. switching between applications is slow and buggy. contacts UI is awkward, dialing two-handed via touchscreen is a pain. feels like i'm using an OLD windows computer without enough memory. SO disappointed

VX6700 crash
well, 2 months into ownership off a xv6700 and tolerating its crashing and locking up (including in the middle of phone usage). Have now loaded minimo from mozila but can't get rid of internet explorer (which is real slow compared to minimo) and thus free-up some memory. But all in all I suspect that this device has great potential if verizon had not been so dumb as to use a microsoft OS for it. as mobile linux distro would have been a better option. For myself having large fingers the palm and other pdas were not an option and the slide-out keypad was a must. so all in all, great device worthless operation system. And where I work Verizon's service gets worse each month even though the SF bay is said to be the centre of the hightech world.

No good in the field setting
Although this unit has a lot of nice features, It's no good if you can't hear it. The operatering system is slow, the battery under low use does not take me through an 8 hour shift.
