Cingular 2125 is great, but?
I wanted a phone first and then data applications second. I just want more applications built for the phone. The phone works great. The speakerphone is ok, but not as good as I'd like. However, it is much better than all of the PDA phones that I've looked at. The battery is also better. I searched and searched for a solution that let me have a phone and could also do internet and email (and at a reasonable cost.)

The data part works good. Email for POP and exchange is good, email attachments (word, excel, PPT and PDF) can be viewed, but not edited. You can set it to automatically retrieve email. No copy and paste.

It has PIE, but this doesn't support frames or downloads (e.g., PDF). Opera browser works good for frames, but no download. Thunderhawk will be the next try? You'll need to learn to hack the registry to get your cache to the storage card.

Music is good with WMP 10, speakers are only fair.

The screen is good except in bright outdoors. The joystick works fine and T9 input takes a while to learn.

I love the phone (1 month usage), but I want more applications and games.
