I really spent a lot of time working on Documents to Go recently. While I thought the $30 upgrade fee to go from Doc to Go Premiere 7 for the Palm to 8 was steep for how minimal I thought the upgrade was, I paid it anyway and installed the software for one reason.
That reason, is because of the poor reader the Adobe has put out for the Palm. Adobe Reader for the Palm from the conversion process through the Reading on the Palm, is about as lacking a product and process that I have ever seen in the years I have worked with PDAs.
Unfortunately, we are stuck with the bloated .PDF format.
Then I took a couple of PDF documents, that work perfectly on my XP PC and loaded them into Docs to go.
I first was amazed by the size of PDF formnats on a Palm PDA.
Then I received a Docs to Go error telling me that the .PDF's the Docs to Go uploaded to my PDA were not meant to be read. There are some security issues ??
Ugh!
So as for me, the Docs to Go PDF reader, doesn't read !!
I really don't want to spend a lot of time debuging for Dataviz.
So, I'll hang around the forums and hope that the problem gets discussed their and some bright people will figure it out.
