Mobile game developer Astraware has updated eleven of its games to run on handhelds built on Windows Mobile 5.0 devices—all on Pocket PC PDAs and Phones, with four also compatible with Smartphones.

Games compatible with both Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PCs and Smartphones are Bejeweled, Crazy Daisy, Bzzz! and Super Slyder. The rest—Bejeweled 2 (see top image), Shape Shifter, Pixelus, Zuma, Tradewinds, Text Twist, and Super Wild Wild Words are for Pocket PC PDAs and Phones only.

"With the new devices released, we wanted to ensure that early adopters can still play their favorite Astraware games," says Howard Tomlinson, CEO of Astraware. "We've updated each of the titles, and all have been signed so that you can be sure that they'll work well."

Astraware expects to release more Windows Mobile 5.0 titles in the coming months. These updates are free to existing registered owners of these games.
