Water Damage
After 3-4 months of use my P800 started to fail. Turning itself off and various failed functions. On submitting it to the advised technician I was advised that the phone had sustained water damage. The phone had not to my knowledge been ever, even ,in the rain!! Condensation??? Are there any other "water damaged" phones out there? Not covered by warranty!! I strongly feel that "water damage" could be either a coppout or a design flaw. In any case BEWARE.

Websites for p800
hi all out there,,,well i bought the p800 in dec 2003,well til now i found it fine n best than other.no doubt its oicture quality is no better than 3650,another drawback,,symbian sofwares don't work on it,,so we have some limitations in it.
u can make it camcoder like 3650 by installing sofware of philips camcoder.i don't remember the website but u can get it by searching.

problems with P800/windows xp/oulook
unfortunately, p800 has MAJOR issues with windows/oulook. Tried everything. Unit has been changed twice. Tried sending it in fr service in India and in USA, 4 times. Problem is that everytime the phone synced, while I can hear the person calling me, they cannot hear me, after 3-4 minutes at random.
Have reloaded entire windows XP and outlook from scratch !!!
Changing sim cards does not help.
Problem occurs in 3 continents, so the issue is not phone service quality. Open the flip, sound is fine.
Use the head phones, sound is fine.
Talk normal with flip closed,and there is a problem. Bought the bluetooth earpiece, it does not help as it picks up too much outside noise.
Obviusly I can use without the PDA and relaod software and use as phone alone, but then why do I need this and not a Nokia 6100 simple phone?FED UP. any help would be appreciated
