it is about time
move over psion
you are the maker of great products and the perfectionist of a poor follow-through.
whenever you had a great product (and you had lots) you guys took a one year leave from the bizz, so it seems just to return after your sabbatical to scratch your collective heads and seeing the competition having caught up with you.
i had all of your machines and they were all pacemakers - one after the other you let go stale - move over and allow inferior products with better marketing take over -
you genuinely blew it

Re: Well done kill Bluetooh????!
As far as its UK operation was concerned - do you not realise other than its array of Bluetooth perphierals the only other new product on its way was a Bluetooth Revo?
What does Psion have up their sleeves...? a 'venture' into digital networks... wtf is that?! excuse me while I am underwhelmed by this novel idea.
Still, at least they can cower behind Teklogix...

Conflict of opinion
In the video press release on FT.com said:
http://news.ft.com/ft/gx.cgi/ftc?pagename=View&c=Article&cid=FT34WP7P1PC&live=true&tagid=ZZZC00L1B0C&Collid=ZZZ96PECC0C
There was also a release on the Psion Website at:

I like many others are sorry to see Psion pulling out of the handheld market but I have to go along with the CEO when he says the market is overcrowded. There is no sentiment in business and the company will be better for it by taking the long term view.
Are you aware that Palm have 500,000 units that they don't know what to do with - hence the multiple offers one see's to 'Win a handheld'
Regards

Conflicting News!
BBC still seem under the impression that Psion are withdrawing from the handheld market.
I sincerely hope that is not the case!

What a relief!
What a relief! I really refused to believe the earlier message of Psion leaving the Handheld Market was true. Ok, these are difficult times in the electronic bussiness and it's hard to make some profit now, but Psion has built up a very good reputation here and has a lot of enthousiastic PDA-owners....Times will change again and ...isn't this a great motivation to continue?

Well Done...Kill Bluetooth before Bluetooth kills Revo
Waking up from a bad dream finaly. It does not make sense to spend
money on a technology that was not working well and that nobody is really sure
wether it is useful at all. Spend some money on marketing and ask customers
what they want on their Psion! Thank You!
